All Hail Morning Routines!

What does Steve Jobs, Oprah, Tony Robbins, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, and all the other incredibly successful people have in common?
An empowering morning routine.
They all take time in the morning to focus on themselves and to check in with themselves before they interact with the world.
Indeed, a proactive morning routine will set the tone for the whole day.
It has been proven that implementing an effective and efficient routine will help you feel more grounded and emotionally stable, as well as be more productive, confident, healthy, strong, and in the long run, more successful.
So where do you begin?
First of all, wake up early! You need to stop telling yourself that you are a night owl. Seriously, it seems like everyone is a night owl these days but that’s just an excuse to wake up late again and rush out the door like a madman!
Wake up at least 2 hours before you need to get anywhere, and spend the time for yourself and only yourself.
As soon as you wake up, hydrate yourself with some nice, soothing tea and make plans for your future, set goals for the day, work on a side hustle… do all the things that you were too tired to do at night after work.
It is also highly recommended to at least squeeze in a short workout in the morning.
Getting your body moving for even just 20-30 minutes in the morning allows for good blood circulation, and a clear mind. The moment you step out of a refreshing shower after the workout, you will feel better about yourself more than ever. Going a step further, if you start your day with a workout, you are prone to making healthier food choices for the day. It’s a win-win!
A morning routine that you follow everyday (even on the weekends!) will help reduce stress because they will be a set of actions that you move through without thinking. It will help you avoid mental fatigue in the morning making decisions because that will definitely affect your choices and mood throughout the day.
So, take some time to think about smart ways to spend your morning everyday, go to bed early, and start the day fresh.
After all, if you start every day with healthy habits, focusing on what is important for you, that will mean that there will not be a day going by without you thinking about your goals and your future, which will consciously and subconsciously lead you to take actions towards the life you desire.
Love, S
